„And where can we find the great royal deer?“ Arthur asked the fox. „I know someone who might be able to help, my old friend, Brown Bear. He lives near the lake, he stays there all day fishing for trout. This way, follow me“ answered the fox. The two trotted along a narrow path, but soon they were surprised by a loud noise. A rabble of people was camping in a small clearing among the trees: men, women, elders and children, all intent on eating, drinking, singing and dancing.
They made a great racket and didn‘t have the slightest respect for nature: they threw all kinds of rubbish onto the ground, they turned up the volume on the stereo at full blast and lit various reckless fires. The fox was horrified to see her forest treated that way and Arthur decided to intervene. Despite his bizarre hat
and the staff, no one noticed him, but when he turned off the music the crowd exploded in a barrage of insults and gestures. “Good for you, you know how to have fun“ Arturo warned them „you‘re very organised, you really didn‘t forget anything, did you? To tell you the truth, something is missing: rubbish bags to throw
your waste in. Did you forget them? So, what else are you missing? Let‘s see, maybe your hearing? I guess you‘re a little deaf since you scream and the music drowns out every other sound. Do you know what else you‘re missing? A little common sense. It doesn‘t take much to understand that the forest is a place of
unspoilt nature, populated by creatures that you are terrorising with your noise.
The forest is available to everyone, but nobody should take advantage of it. If everyone acted like you, it probably wouldn‘t exist anymore.“ Arthur‘s eyes burned with fury.
„Sorry sir“ came the mortified voice of a child much younger than him, „it‘ll never happen again.“ „He‘s right,“ added an adult voice, „we were wrong and we‘ll make amends as soon as we can. Thanks for the lesson, we really deserved it. „ Arthur turned and resumed his path. He was bursting with laughter.
